Attending the UCO College & Internship Far was an experience filled with a mix of excitement, nerves, & self doubt. Honestly, I was so anxious & nervous that I almost could have talked myself out of going. The fear of stepping into the unknown, of being out of my comfort zone, was a strong pull against me. But, despite the anxiety, I made the decision to go anyway.
As soon as I walked in, something shifted.
I realized that this was an opportunity to challenge myself & grow. Once I started talking with the representatives & other students, I quickly discovered that I was more than capable. I wasn’t just navigating the event; I was thriving in it.
I found that being myself was enough, it is always enough.. My confidence grew, & I began to see that I really am good at what I do.

Stepping out of my comfort zone wasn’t easy, it was worth it. The whole experience reminded me that I don’t need to have everything figured out to succeed. Sometimes, just showing up is the biggest step towards realizing what I’m truly capable of.
